Discover the exceptional flavors of Costa Rica with our single origin Costa Rica Corazon de Jesus Natural Espresso. This lot is lovingly grown on El Salitre farm, owned and operated by the Alvarado family. Experience the passion and dedication of Johnny Alvarado and his family with each sip of this naturally processed coffee from their micro-mill, Corazon De Jesus.
With seven family members involved in coffee production across the Brunca region, this is truly a family affair. Only the ripest cherries are carefully hand-picked and then undergo a 2-day in-cherry pre-fermentation stage under shade, using polypropylene bags. On the third day, the cherries are laid out on patios and piled and covered at night for a total of 10 days, ensuring optimal fermentation.
To promote airflow and enhance the flavors, the cherries are raked three times during the hot afternoons. The cherries are then transferred to African beds for a final 15 days
